Join the Team
QueUp is built and run by volunteers. When we have room for someone new on the team, this is where you'll find it.
Open roles
No open roles right now
We only open applications when we genuinely need the help, so this page is empty more often than not. New roles turn up here first, so it’s worth checking back.
How we work
The things that matter to us in how we build QueUp, work together, and treat our users.
Be open by default
Tell people what's going on, and share the context rather than just the outcome. Security issues and personal information stay private. Everything else starts open.
Do what's right for the user
Don't trick people into doing something they didn't mean to do, and don't make the product worse for them because it makes a metric look better.
Say what you mean
Be honest, be specific, and don't hide behind corporate language. If something broke, say it broke.
Own it
If you see a problem, it's your problem too. “Not my job” isn't a good enough reason to leave something broken.
Ship, learn, repeat
Make the smallest useful change, get it in people's hands, and see what happens. Then do it again.
Just so you know
Nobody on the team is paid, including the founders. There aren’t set hours either — we just ask that you’re reasonably active and around on Discord when you can.
Nothing here for you?
Joining the team isn’t the only way to help. Reporting bugs, giving feedback, spreading the word, or supporting the running costs all make a real difference.
